| April 30, 2020 To all our valued members, We hope everyone is staying safe during this pandemic. We are all wishing for the day that we can get back out there to meet our friends and family for some friendly competition, but unfortunately at this time we don’t have a date for when that will happen for bars and pool rooms. That and their conditional opening guidelines are up to the provincial government. We will find out soon. When our host locations are permitted to open, then we can resume league play. The Spring Session will be resume and be completed with the same number of weeks as was originally scheduled with the Spring Tri-Annuals following that. This will likely impact our Summer Session start-up to the point where we may end up cancelling that session altogether and go right into the Fall Session from there. The World Pool Qualifiers will be run in late August or early September. The exact dates will be determined once we know when the session will resume. The conditions of eligibility for qualified teams remain the same. For 8-Ball teams that are already qualified, the APA will allow roster changes with special conditions for this year only. The 8-Ball World Championship will be held from November 28 from December. 3. There is still more that can be addressed and I’m sure there will be plenty of questions. We don’t have all of the answers at this time, but we will pass them forward as we get them. We know how difficult this time off is for all of our league members. We hope that you are all staying healthy and happy. We’re all in this together. While league play is suspended, we are not shut down. We’re open for support to all our members.
